From London, turn off at the A303 at Mere and drive into the centre of the village. At the clock tower, turn right by Lloyds Bank and into Manor Road, and then right into North Street. The Old Police House is approximately 50 yards on your left hand side — look for the black and white B&B sign and just park in the gravelled front garden.

From Exeter, turn off the A303 at Mere and follow signs for Mere. As you pass The Ship Hotel, turn left by Lloyds Bank into Manor Road, and then right into North Street.

From Warminster, take the A350 towards Shaftesbury. After you have passed through Crokerton, look out for the BP garage on your left hand side, and take the next turning on the right onto the B3095 through The Deverills. You eventually come into Mere. Keep going straight on through to the centre of the village. At the clock tower, turn right by Lloyds Bank into Manor Road, and then right into North Street.
